Terms and Conditions
The FedEx Rewards Programme ("Programme") is owned and managed by FedEx Express International BV ("FedEx"). The Programme is provided subject to compliance with the below terms and conditions, including the General Terms and Conditions set forth below (collectively, the "Terms and Conditions").
Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully before accessing or using the Programme. By accessing or using the Programme, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set forth below. If you do not agree to the Terms and Conditions set forth below, you may not use the Programme.
You acknowledge and agree that the Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding contract between you and FedEx. FedEx may modify the Terms and Conditions as described below. The most current version of the Terms and Conditions is available at getrewards.fedex.com/EU and will supersede all previous versions. By completing the registration process, you become an authorised user of the Programme (a "Member"). "Member" shall mean the customer account holder.
The Programme is a point-based loyalty programme which is designed to reward customers for choosing FedEx.
- Membership
- Participation in the Programme is voluntary. The Programme is open only to companies with legal residence in one of the countries published here: https://getrewards.fedex.com/eu. (“Eligible Countries”). Employees of FedEx and its third-party providers, their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries and agents, as well as their immediate families (parents, siblings, children and spouse) and household members of each such employee are not eligible to join the Programme and/or redeem Rewards in the Programme. Membership is limited to FedEx Express customers with accounts in good standing in Eligible Countries.
- Certain accounts may not be eligible for membership at the sole discretion of FedEx. Accounts held by (i) any entity owned or controlled directly or indirectly by, or otherwise affiliated with, any government entity or political party, or any national, provincial or local department, agency or instrumentality thereof ("Public Body"), (ii) an officer, employee or representative of a Public Body or candidate for political office (“Public Official”), (iii) any family member of a Public Official or (iv) any entity controlled directly or indirectly by, or otherwise affiliated with, a Public Official or a family member of a Public Official and (v) customers managed by FedEx Enterprise Sales account executives, non-revenue accounts, personal shipping accounts, deleted accounts, accounts serving duty & tax purposes, FedEx internal accounts, freight forwarders and logistics providers are not eligible for the Programme. Membership in the Programme and related membership benefits are not transferable . FedEx reserves the right to combine accounts for administrative or other reasons, provided that the points balance of Members is not negatively affected.
- The Programme may operate on a tiered membership structure. Members may be allocated to one or more tiers based on objective criteria defined by FedEx, including but not limited to, shipping revenue, participation, usage, or other measurable activity related to the Programme.
- Certain Benefits within the Programme may be made available exclusively to Members who have achieved and maintain a specified tier. Eligibility for such Benefits is conditional upon the Member meeting the applicable tier requirements at the time the Benefit is earned and at the time of redemption.
- The applicable tiers, qualification criteria, and the Benefits associated with each tier shall be made available through https://getrewards.fedex.com/eu.
- FedEx may amend the tier structure, qualification criteria, or the availability of tier‑specific Benefits from time to time. Achievement of a particular tier does not confer an unconditional or perpetual right to any specific reward. FedEx reserves the right to determine, modify, or discontinue tier-specific Benefits.
- In case the Member no longer meets the above eligibility criteria, the Member has the obligation to inform FedEx via Contact Us form at https://getrewards.fedex.com/EU.
- To be eligible for participation, customer’s internal policies must allow them to participate in the Programme.
2. Enrolment
- Members must satisfy the requirements contained in section 1 of these Terms and Conditions, both at the time of enrolment and throughout their participation in the Programme. FedEx reserves the right to disqualify a Member should the Member fail to meet or maintain any such membership requirement, in which case section 11 of these Terms and Conditions apply, and FedEx reserves the right to claw back any Rewards granted in the event of a disqualification.
- Members must have a valid FedEx account number and a valid, unique email address that cannot be used for more than one FedEx Rewards account.
- FedEx reserves the right to require a Member to execute a certificate of eligibility at any time, confirming that the Member is not excluded from entry into Programme pursuant to the Terms and Conditions and that the Member has complied fully with the Terms and Conditions. If requested by FedEx, truthful completion of this certificate is a precondition to the award of any Programme Rewards.
- The Member must nominate an individual person as its representative ("Nominated Representative") to enroll in the Programme on the Member’s behalf, but not in his/her own name. Any Reward obtained through the Programme must be attributed to a Member itself and used for business purposes only.
- Only one Nominated Representative is permitted per Member, except where a Member holds multiple accounts. In case the Nominated Representative is not the owner or a key decision maker of the Member’s company, at the time of such person must indicate a secondary e-mail address of the owner or key decision maker. Key decision maker is defined as an authorized representative, a manager who has control over the operations of the company’s financial department, or any other employee to whom an authorized representative or manager has delegated decision-making authority.
- Multiple persons are not permitted to share the same email address or Rewards membership. Any attempt to obtain more memberships by using multiple/different email addresses, shipping accounts, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods may result in disqualification from the Programme.
- After completing the registration process, Member will receive a registration confirmation email.
- Membership accounts will be monitored by FedEx.
- The Nominated Representative is responsible for ensuring that the Member is authorised to join and participate in the Programme, for reviewing transactions and statements for accuracy and for promptly notifying FedEx of suspected unauthorised activity.
3. Termination
- The Programme may be terminated by FedEx at any time for any reason. In such event, FedEx shall post notice of Programme termination on the Programme website (getrewards.fedex.com/EU), or through other means as determined by FedEx at FedEx’s sole discretion, 60 days prior to termination of the Programme.
4. Point Accumulation
- FedEx Rewards points ("Points") will be used to determine eligible Programme Rewards.
- Points can be accumulated from the date of a Member's enrolment in the Programme. Previous spent on the account will not be taken into consideration.
- The number of Points earned is based on the amount spent by the Member on "Eligible Shipments" defined in paragraph iv below. Point calculations will be rounded up to the nearest one (1) Point.
- "Eligible Shipments" must meet all of the following conditions:
- Shipment must be sent by and paid for by the Member;
- Shipment must be sent from and paid in the same country, and must match the country where the Member is registered in with FedEx;
- Transportation charges of the shipments are billed to a Member's FedEx account number (shipper);
- Shipment was not delivered to or shipped from a FedEx station.
- Points will be accrued on the account that sends and pays for a shipment (provided that all the conditions in section 4.iv above are met).
- Points are awarded for transportation charges including surcharges and handling fees associated with those, excluding any discounts and fuel surcharge. Any other surcharges and fees, customs clearance charges, duties and taxes, paid by a Member are not eligible for Points.
- Points will be credited to the relevant FedEx account after the applicable transportation charge has been invoiced, i.e., by the end of the calendar month immediately following the month in which the shipment was made (“Posted Date”).
- Points will not be recalculated in the event of an invoice adjustment.
- Points calculation method, including a maximum Points accumulation, can be found at https://getrewards.fedex.com/EU and will be updated by FedEx at its sole discretion. Members shall be informed of any calculation method changes.
- Point calculation is subject to FedEx's internal rectification within six calendar months of the shipment date.
- Bonus Points may be awarded for activating and completing offers presented through the Programme.
- Points will not be awarded for any shipment immediately following the termination of a FedEx account.
5. Summary of Benefits
- Rewards (“Rewards”). Members choose Reward items from a selection of merchandise and gift cards presented at FedEx’s discretion.
- Offers ("Offers"). Members may be presented with exclusive offers within the Programme. Some Offers may need to be activated by Member. FedEx may reserve certain temporary Offers to select groups of Members. Such Offers shall be based on objective, transparent, and non‑discriminatory criteria related to FedEx and the Programme. The availability of such Offers may vary between Members and does not create an entitlement for all Members to receive the same Offers.
6. Reward Redemption
- Points can only be redeemed as Reward items available at https://getrewards.fedex.com/EU. To redeem Points, a Member must submit a redemption request. Points will be deducted upon receipt of any redemption request by FedEx.
- Points that are not redeemed within twenty-four (24) months following the Posted Date will be forfeited without notice.
- Points accumulated in a FedEx account can only be redeemed by the Member assigned to that FedEx account. Only the Nominated Representative can make a redemption request, otherwise FedEx reserves the right to disregard a redemption request until a formal letter of authorization by a representative of the Member is received.
- Processing of a redemption request may take up to five (5) weeks.
- Once Points are redeemed, Rewards cannot be returned, exchanged, reissued or refunded. Rewards cannot be exchanged for cash, cash-equivalents or any other gifts, goods or service of value.
- Rewards will also be available in the form of (e-)vouchers. The Nominated Representative may redeem (e-) vouchers from brands marked as ‘limited’ in the catalogue, up to a maximum cash equivalent of 66 EUR from the same brand within one (1) calendar year (“Maximum Limited Voucher Amount”). FedEx reserves the right to modify the Maximum Limited Voucher Amount as set out in section 6.xii below.
- The attempted sale or exchange of Points with FedEx or any other party is not permitted and will result in membership termination and the loss of all Points and benefits.
- Rewards are subject to the availability of the requested Rewards at the time of request. FedEx will not guarantee the availability of the requested Reward. In case the requested Reward is no longer available after the order has been placed, the Points will be restored.
- Once the request is processed, the physical Reward(s) will be sent to the address that the Member filed with FedEx as place of business. P.O. boxes are not permitted. Rewards will be considered delivered once they are sent to such address. In the case of e-vouchers, which can be used to redeem Rewards, these will be sent to the Member's registered e-mail address.
- Any issues related to the Reward, including but not limited to the use or misuse thereof are the sole responsibility of Member.
- Member shall maintain internal transparency of Rewards received.
- Points may be used to redeem available Rewards. The value of Points is based on US dollars and converted to local currency using an annual exchange rate. FedEx may modify your Points balance, maximum Point accumulation and/or Maximum Limited Voucher Amount from time to time on the basis of an annual exchange rate or otherwise. The value of Points, and the associated cost of Rewards, may vary accordingly.
7. Expiration of Points.
- Any non-redeemed Points shall be forfeited without compensation upon Member's removal from the Programme by FedEx for any reason, or upon termination of the Programme by FedEx.
8. Missing Point Requests
- In case Points for Eligible Shipments have not been attributed to a Member’s FedEx Rewards account, Members may submit a request for missing Points via Contact Us form at https://getrewards.fedex.com/EU.
- A missing Points request will only be accepted within three (3) months of the shipping date and may take up to four (4) weeks to process.
- FedEx reserves the right to reject any request for missing Points that does not meet the requirements of Point Accumulation described in section 4 of these Terms and Conditions.
9. Account Statements
- Account statements will be issued to Members on a monthly basis.
- FedEx will send the account statement to the Member's e-mail address on file. In case a secondary e-mail address has been provided, the statement will be sent to that e-mail address as well.
10. Data Privacy
- The data requested during enrolment is necessary to operate the Programme. The data may be used for on-going research and programme development. FedEx will also use the data to communicate with a Member. A Member has the right to request that FedEx not send such communication to them, provided that the request is made in writing or email (address available at fedex.com/en-gb/privacy-policy.html). Such a request, however, may prevent FedEx from informing Members about offers associated with Programme membership.
- The FedEx Privacy Notice (fedex.com/en-gb/privacy-policy.html) applies to any processing of personal data of a Member in relation to the Programme. The FedEx Privacy Notice is incorporated herein by reference. All local (translations of) FedEx Privacy Notices can be found on fedex.com.
- Subject to any legal restrictions, a Member may have the rights as set out in the FedEx Privacy Notice.
- Members will be responsible for maintaining the secrecy and confidentiality of their own login password and agree not to disclose the password to any unauthorised person. Members are solely responsible and liable for all damages, losses, costs, expenses, fees, claims and obligations whatsoever arising from the unauthorised use of their password.
11. Membership Termination
- Failure to comply with the Terms and Conditions or other rules and procedures outlined on the Programme website, the fraudulent use or misuse of Points or other fraudulent activity, misrepresentation (including the provision of inaccurate information and/or confirmation) by a Member may result in the immediate termination of the Programme membership. The Member shall indemnify and hold harmless FedEx for all damages, losses, expenses, litigation costs (including reasonable legal fees) and transaction costs, within the limits of the applicable law, for any breaches of these Terms and Conditions.
- If there is any change in the status of a Member's FedEx account which would make such account not eligible for participation in the Programme, FedEx reserves the right to terminate the Programme membership or change the terms of membership without notice. All promotions made available to the Member prior to the change will be immediately cancelled.
- The Member agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless FedEx, its directors, officers and employees from any and all liabilities, damages, losses, expenses, demands, claims, suits or judgments, including reasonable attorneys' fees and expenses, in any way related to the Programme.
- If a Member wishes to terminate the membership, the Member must submit their termination request to FedEx via Contact Us form at https://getrewards.fedex.com/EU. Termination of the membership will become effective within five (5) days of FedEx receiving a Member's written notice. After termination of the Programme membership, participation in the Programme will not be re-instated.
- Termination of the membership for any reason (regardless of voluntary or involuntary termination) will result in the cancellation of all accumulated Points.
12. Membership Suspension
- Membership in the Programme may be suspended in case of overdue payments. This does not affect the status or shipping activities of a Member. Membership shall be re-instated when FedEx establishes at its convenience that the payments are no longer overdue.
13. General Terms and Conditions
- Under no circumstances and to the extent permitted by applicable law, including, but not limited to, negligence, shall FedEx, its officers, directors, employees, shareholders, promotion agencies, agents, successors, assigns, and service providers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of the Programme or merchandise offered through the Programme. FedEx, its officers, directors, employees, shareholders, promotion agencies, agents, successors, assigns, and service providers, are not responsible for any products or services offered on the participating vendor websites. To the fullest extent allowable by law, FedEx and its promotion agencies specifically disclaim any representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the products and/or services offered on any partner website, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose and implied warranties arising from course of dealing or course of performance. Members agree to rely solely on the manufacturer's warranties, if any, for any products redeemed through this Programme.
- In the event that any provision is held invalid or otherwise unenforceable, such termination shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision.
- By participating in the Programme, Member agrees to release and hold harmless FedEx, its parent, subsidiary, affiliate and related companies, and each of its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any losses, damages, rights, claim or cause of action of any kind arising, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, out of participation in the Programme or resulting directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any item given in connection with the Programme, including without limitation personal injury, death, and/or property damage, as well as claims based on publicity rights, defamation, and/or invasion of privacy.
- FedEx reserves the right to modify or terminate any and all FedEx Rewards promotions, campaign, Rewards, benefits and rules at any time without notice. FedEx reserves the right to modify any of the Terms and Conditions set forth herein, including, but not limited to the amount of Rewards associated with the purchases, the number of purchases through which Members may earn Rewards, the number of Rewards that may be redeemed through the Programme, the accumulation or redemption of credited Points, the structure, availability or terms of use of Rewards, or the features of any special offer and any of the options made available to Members, at any time, with notice, even though these changes may affect an Member's ability to accrue or redeem Rewards. FedEx reserves the right to change the third-party providers of each promotion, campaign or Rewards ("Third-Party Provider"). These changes will apply even if they affect the value of previously credited Points.
- If the Programme is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures and any other causes beyond the control of FedEx, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the promotion, FedEx reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Programme, in which case no redemption of Rewards or other compensation will be due. Members shall be notified of Programme termination, modification or suspension.
- Members are responsible for the payment of any and all taxes levied on those Members by local tax authorities resulting from the participation in the Programme, including the earning and/or receiving of Rewards, with the exception of VAT.
- Membership in the Programme is at the sole discretion of FedEx. Membership is subject to the requirements described in section 1 and 2 of the Terms and Conditions.
- FedEx is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information supplied by Member.
- All questions or disputes regarding eligibility for the Programme, earning of Rewards, or Member's compliance with these Terms and Conditions will be resolved by FedEx in its sole discretion.
- These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between FedEx and Member pertaining to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior or other arrangements, understandings, negotiations and discussions, whether oral or written.
- FedEx will not be obliged to award the Rewards if it is contrary to any applicable laws or regulations.
- Member is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of Member's account.
- FedEx reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.
- FedEx reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to terminate the Programme at any time without any liability or notice.
14. Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of The Netherlands, and any disputes shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of any appropriate court within Amsterdam for adjudication of disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions.
